Lilith’s Book Club moves with the rhythm of the moon.

 

Dedicated to Lilith, the first woman, bound to cycles of disappearance and return, exile and illumination, the club embraces the moon as its measure—a guide for reading shaped by autonomy rather than command.​

The club reads texts that echo Lilith’s lineage—works concerned with power, consent, desire, and the cost of self-sovereignty. Reading is not rushed; it is allowed to darken, surface, and return changed. The full moon marks a moment of illumination—a pause to write, reflect, and respond—while the passing cycles acknowledge that understanding is never static.

Here, literature follows a lunar logic: attentive, recursive, and unwilling to obey linear authority. It is a space where words become ritual, reflection becomes ceremony, and readers reclaim the sovereignty of their own inner lives.

A new book is selected every two months. At each full moon, a blog post appears: one month offering a reflective review engaging the selected text, the next turning inward with a standalone creative writing piece.
